Cultivating a Brat Army; Insulating Power with a Strong Middle Class

reward arrogance trait, nurture arrogance
arrogance can be used to build a self image that can never be wrong because everything you believe has been right. you’re always the good guy. how dare you question me?

nurture this by directing that arrogance at a specific cause or person. make villains of groups of people, made up or otherwise, just keep that cortisol pumping.

millennials: killing industries, demanding free shit like freeloaders. bunch of overeducated snowflakes looking for a handout.

boomers: perpetual helicopter and/or entitled Karen’s/Kevin’s. speaking to managers because of some unobserved self importance. extravagant sense of worth. quick to blame kids

narcissism -> outrage, direct that outrage at specific cause.

the pain of never questioning yourself, the possibility of failure makes you so afraid of it that you won’t even look down. you’ve climbed too high. the fall would kill you. how could I be wrong now? what changed? why did they leave me behind? they will think to themselves while hiding behind a venom meant to scare away would be predators. but we have no quarrels with each other at this level. we are angry at this tool that is being used against you and against us to keep them in charge.
truth is, we can be bought off easy. a little healthcare, a little education, a little more tax money for things like roads and social services; we would build you monuments that would stretch for eons of time. and we would celebrate being able to do this for you.
instead they seek to explore how much weight we will allow them to place on us before the population finds themselves recklessly hopeless.
we are telling you this is enough. there is an opportunity to release the pressure in forms of insignificantly impactful changes for you, and incredibly rewarding to us. these programs are miniscule to your power, but they do more than “reward handouts”, it insulates you from others who would seek to take significant portions of your power/wealth; your enemies.
without a strong middle class, your power can become brittle. Naked.
