Drum setup and painting pads

Trying to find a good location for everything. Think I’ve got it figured out.

Need to add sample pad dead center there. Gotta stain that rack tom, also figure out a floor Tom situation. That mapex is old and I’d like a little more depth. Need to add secondary hats as well. Might have a solution in my extra gear at home.

Been painting the Simmons pads. Prep is just cleaning the surface and taping off the rubber and connections. Also want to leave the logo because they’re super old.

Using primer first. Light coat to tack, then full coat.

Going with this leftover purple from the light boxes. Might go darker. We’ll see.
