On prisoners in a society
if society has deemed an individual no longer fit to be part of society, it is society’s responsibility to provide a habitable life and healthcare until their natural passing. the weight of inability to rehabilitate for the societal good should be the burden if society, not the punishment of the individual.
in short, prisoners should be encouraged to rehabilitate or be provided a quiet but healthy life until their natural passing. never should a prisoner be used as free or discount labor as this creates incentive to have more prisoners.
